Admission Steps

Step 1
Information session for parents
Basic information concerning the admissions process.
There will be an overview of the FIS curriculum and philosophy, as well as tuition & fees.
Parents will have a scheduled meeting with the principal and the school board to discuss their upcoming plans and goals for their child/children; also, the admission process and tuition will be discussed during the session.

Step 2
Testing and interview for students
Test: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing, Math (MAP)
Students will take an exam that covers all four areas of English(reading, listening, speaking, and writing) and math.
The test results will determine if admission requirements are met and class placement.
Admission interview: Basic interview questions (self-introduction, hobbies, aspirations in life, etc.)
Required documents: Application, Photo, Recommendation, Official School Transcript, Application Fee

Final interview for parents
Student’s academic evaluation and the FIS’s educational philosophy and expectations.
Parents will receive their child/children’s testing and final evaluation results (test & interview). The academy board will announce the final decision regarding students’ admission status one month before the start of the new semester.
The admission office will contact admitted students with a time to pick up their welcoming packets.
